Departure date: June 7^th--8^th

Meeting place: June 7^th, 8:00 AM in front of the Swissotel Beijing, Dong Si Shi Tiao Station (Metro Exit C)

Duration: 2 days

Day1.

In the morning, we will set off from Beijing at 8:00am and drive to Moon Island. It's about 3.5 hours driving then we will arrive at Laoting county. We will have lunch in Laoting, during the lunch you will try the special Zongzi to celebrate the dragon boat festival. Later, we head to Moon Island by boat from three islands pier, boat will take about 45minutes.

 

Upon our arrival, we check into the Holland style wooden house for refreshing. Unlike other wooden houses, it was not on the land but are all above the water. After that our guide will show you around the island. Such as the Melons garden, Holland style windmill, Holland style architectures, etc.

 

Today, each of you will get a free kite as a Dragon Boat festival gift. You can fly the kite on the beach, you will see all miscellaneous colors flying in the sky.  Anyway, you can entertain yourself all this afternoon on the beach, enjoy the fresh air, sunshine, flying kite, playing beach volleyball and beach soccer, or walking freely along the beach by yourself.  

 

In the evening, we will get together for a barbecue dinner. You will have chance to try all kinds of fresh sea food. After dinner, it would be party time, we will set up the bonfire, seating around, drinking beer, playing some traditional Chinese games or dancing around the bonfires. Later night, we go back to the wooden house and have a nice dream with a ray of moonlight from the windows.

 

 

Day2.

Weak up yourself with the sea smell, you probably will watch the sunrise from your room in the morning.

 

After an abundant breakfast, we go to experience the fisher man¡¯s life, you can walk freely along the beach and pick up green clam and all kinds of shells at Xituo bay. If you are birds lover, you can go watching birds and pheasant at Whelk Bay. Today, lunch will be arranged on your own, around 2pm, we gather together take boat to Laoting and then drive back to Beijing.
